After a few years of hard work, we are proud to say that we are full time profitable farm! We currently manage and maintain over 1,500 acres of farm land in Jefferson County. We know that the secret to building a successful farming business includes virtues such as faith in God, pride in country, hard work, creativity, patience, consistency, having versatile operations, and a willingness to do what it takes. The customers are always valued!

We are committed to the safe, reliable production of high quality Brangus cattle for direct marketing to local customers in the most natural way possible. Our herd is completely free of hormones and antibiotics. We currently offer high quality beef from grass-fed cattle, available in large and small volume.
In addition to beef, Nelson Cattle and Hay also produces high quality feed and high quantity mulch hay from multiple McCalla farms. We offer both treated and chemical free products.

We also offer seed, fertilizer, and lime services. Pricing is based on acre or per bale.
