7 Sisters Heritage Farm

Hamilton, Alabama

7 Sisters Heritage Farm is a family-run educational farm and nonprofit in northwest Alabama dedicated to preserving traditional homesteading skills, agricultural heritage, and the spirit of rural hospitality. What began as a homeschool farm has grown into a place where families can experience a slower, more connected way of life while supporting local food, Alabama farmers, and heritage education.

Our farm stand offers a variety of farm-made and locally sourced goods throughout the year, including fresh sourdough breads, seasonal baked goods, customer-favorite fruit fritters, wood-fire roasted coffee, jams and jellies, handcrafted lard soaps, lip balms, fresh produce, pumpkins, and other homestead-crafted specialties. Whenever possible, our products are grown, baked, or made right here on the farm. When we are unable to grow enough ourselves, we proudly source fruits and vegetables from fellow Alabama farmers, helping support local agriculture while providing our customers with fresh, seasonal produce.

Our farm stand is open Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with weekday visits available by appointment. We are closed on Sundays. Product availability changes with the seasons and reflects what is being grown, harvested, baked, and crafted throughout the year.

In addition to our farm stand, we occasionally offer educational workshops, farm tours, and hands-on learning opportunities focused on gardening, food preservation, baking, livestock care, and other traditional homesteading skills.

Every purchase helps support our mission of preserving agricultural traditions, teaching practical skills, and strengthening the connection between families, food, and the land.
