White Taylor Flock Farm

Hartselle, Alabama

WTF Farm began in 2023 as a simple hobby — just a small backyard flock of chickens and a love for fresh eggs. But by the next year, our hens were outproducing what our family and we could eat, so we decided it was time to share the extras with our community.

In April 2024, we joined the Hartselle Farmers Market, starting small with just 15–20 dozen eggs a week. The support we received that first season inspired us to grow — literally! As the market season wrapped up, we made plans to expand our flock, hatch more chicks, and add a few fields of fresh produce for the 2025 season.
That spring, we built our first 10' x 20' starter greenhouse and filled it with over 1,200 seedlings. From there, our 100' x 100' field garden took shape, and we began our adventure into heirloom and homegrown vegetables — Brandywine, Cherokee Purple, and Better Boy tomatoes, along with colorful cherry varieties like Indigo Rose and Indigo Blues. We also grew cucumbers (MarketMore and Pickling), squash and zucchini, Clemson Spineless okra in both purple and green, sweet corn, peas, peppers, and beans of all kinds.

Now, as we head into 2026, we’re excited to bring new offerings to the market (branching out to visit Hartselle Farmers Market and Morgan County/Decatur Farmers Market) — including several varieties of microgreens and some of the specialty produce our amazing customers have requested.
