Drysdale Family Farms LLC started with a desire to have access to home grown products. After raising only a few chickens for eggs and meat for our own consumption, our desire developed into an interest in raising eggs and meat for those looking to purchase directly from a local farm. Our birds are "Pasture-Raised". For our farm, this means that we move "chicken tractors" (mobile chicken coops) onto fresh pasture on a rotational schedule. This technique facilitates natural behaviors such as foraging, dust bathing and access to additional nutrients.
