The Pike County Agriscience Academy at Goshen High School supplies our local communities with locally grown products. We are a part of the Pike County School System and the items grown are cared for by our students with the help of the agriscience teachers. The Pike County Agriscience Academy is the only high school agriculture education program in the state which offers dual enrollment courses in agriscience so that students can graduate with either a short-term certificate or associates program in agriscience. Better yet, all of this is free of charge to the students! The Goshen FFA Chapter has a great heritage of success with many winning teams and district/state officers. This working farm on our high school campus will be marketing lettuce and collards from our Freight Farm controlled climate agriculture system as well as freezer beef which is from steers fed on our feedyard operation. These items are both grown by our students in order to facilitate learning and meet the needs of our local community.
