Aquality Farms

Anniston, Alabama

Aquality Farms was created to provide affordable access to fresh, nutritious products for our local communities using sustainable agricultural practices. The combination of vertical hydroponic systems and a developing recaptured CO2 plan puts an emphasis on minimizing growing area, energy and water consumption while maximizing yield per square foot. Without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or any other harmful chemicals our natural products are grown all year long in a converted warehouse. Only using 2,000 square feet we are able to grow nearly 24,000 heads of lettuce over a 6 week cycle. In a space half that size we are able to cultivate up to 300 pounds of Lion’s Mane, Oyster, Chestnut, and Reishi mushrooms a week. The nutritional benefits from our lettuce, mushrooms, and various microgreens remain longer due to our local model and commitment to wellness which prioritizes the individual, the community, and the environment. We believe in helping people create a Sustainably Healthy lifestyle. Not all produce is created equal, it has become a matter of convenience and the standard that we view most produce as being healthy when many times it’s the complete opposite. Lettuce sprayed with poison, transported across the country then sold to you at an unfair price is not healthy for yourself, your family, or the environment. Aquality Farms wants to show the next generation that fresh, sustainably healthy food sources are the standard not the exception. Alabama is home to fertile soil, clean water, creative minds, and hard workers that are able to produce the best products using the best practices so keep fresh, keep sustainably healthy, keep Alabama!
