The Farm Food Collaborative (FFC) is North Alabama’s first local food hub, operating out of the Food Bank of North Alabama since September 2014. FFC’s mission of building a robust local food system is three-fold: to support thriving family farms, a strong economy, and a healthy population.
The FFC helps Alabama farmers obtain food safety certifications and coordinate sales and delivery logistics so farms throughout North and Central Alabama can sell to school districts, early care and education (ECE) sites, grocery stores, and restaurants. In addition to coordinating sales, the FFC handles everything from invoicing to marketing so that farmers can do what they do best, grow delicious and nutritious food. We also help school districts coordinate farmer visits and field trips!
The Farm Food Collaborative makes supporting local foods and farmers easy!
