Meet Ambassador Erin Moody
January 23, 2025
Say hello to Erin Moody, a 2025 Sweet Grown Alabama Ambassador and lifestyle content creator of @moody.wife! This South Alabama native has a passion for sharing what it really means to be a mom. Her little family loves enjoying all things local, from visiting u-pick farms to cooking with good products her toddler will actually eat! Read more about Erin to get to know her better.
1. Who is Erin Moody?
I am a Jesus follower, a wife, and a mama. I was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. My husband and I now live in Baldwin County, Alabama with our 18 month old daughter, Mary.
I am a “lifestyle/motherhood” content creator at @moody.wife where my main mission and goal is to be a daily reminder that you’re not alone. Whether that’s through sharing an easy recipe that your toddler will actually eat, sharing an outfit idea that helps you feel more confident postpartum, or sharing the behind the scenes of our crazy life so you say “wow, I’m not the only one!” – I want other moms to feel like they have a friend when they find my page.
I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2019 which is when I really started caring about ingredients. Being 100% gluten free is intimidating at first, but I kind of enjoy the challenge. I love finding ways to still enjoy food I love, even with the restrictions. Just the other day I made some homemade gluten-free buttermilk biscuits from scratch and dare I say, they were better than any regular biscuit I’ve ever had!
2. How did you begin your social media/influencer journey?
I actually started as a fashion blog! When I got married in 2019 I rebranded to MoodyWife and started sharing gluten free tips as well as outfit ideas. I felt a little split in two directions because I loved sharing my life and style, but loved sharing recipes, too. I have always loved connecting with my audience online but becoming a mom is really when I found my “why” - that’s when I realized that I could branch out into more recipes, lifestyle vlogs, and keep the fashion content because it all fell under the umbrella of “mom life”.

3. What is your all-time favorite meal?
A classic breakfast spread. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, grits- the whole thing!
4. What drives you to promote your local community and local products?
I love that when you support a local business, you’re supporting an actual person. You’re helping put food on their family’s table. It feels really personal, because it is.
5. Where is your favorite spot in Alabama?
I’m torn! I love living near the beach. We are definitely a beach-loving family. But we spend alot of time at Lake Martin and have really fallen in love with the cozy, quiet lake experience.

6. If you had to pick just ONE of the following to keep, which would you choose and why? Local pumpkin patches, Christmas tree farms or u-pick strawberry farms?
Oooh. This is a hard one. I would say pumpkin patches. I loved taking my daughter to the pumpkin patch last fall at one of our local farmers markets. It’s such a fun way to kick off that time of year. Where else would I get the most gorgeous mums for my front porch?!
