1. Who is Ricky Albright?

I own a first generation farm that was started in 2017 in Troy. We began by rescuing bottle fed calves and developed into a cow/calf operation. We love what we do! In addition to running the farm I am a self-taught grill master, award-winning BBQ champion, and I have a great love for all things BBQ. My go to grill style is open fire cooking. I love how it brings family and friends around fire in fellowship.

2. How did you begin your cooking journey?

My cooking journey began when I was a child. I grew up watching my dad on the Big Green Egg. Over the years our bond has become closer over our love of grilling and BBQing.

3. What’s your all time favorite meal?

My all time favorite meal would be buttermilk and bourbon brined fried wild turkey nuggets, fried shell cracker and any type of grilled or smoked beef.

My favorite place in Alabama would be on the farm or Lake Martin, enjoying time with my wife.

6. Do you prefer Alabama pork or Alabama beef products?

If if had to chose between Alabama pork or beef products I would have to say beef - its ways for dinner.
