Alabama Farm Credit Pledges Support for Sweet Grown Alabama

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- Alabama Farm Credit has pledged financial support to Sweet Grown Alabama with a $10,000 supporter sponsorship for the 2021-2022 fiscal year.

“Sweet Grown Alabama is a wonderful effort by our state to highlight our local farmers producing excellent products,” said Mel Koller, president and CEO of Alabama Farm Credit. “As a cooperative partnering with those same farmers it’s a natural fit for us to be a part of the Sweet Grown mission. We are looking forward to the strides the Sweet Grown team will make this year, and look forward to our farm products being highlighted in grocery stores, farmers markets and restaurants state wide.”

Alabama Farm Credit’s financial support will help Sweet Grown Alabama continue to connect Alabama farmers and families. Funds will be utilized to encourage purchasing of locally grown products through traditional and digital marketing, events and other special projects.
