Wagyu Steak

Ingredients

  • Alabama wagyu ribeye or choice of cut
  • Butter
  • Coarse salt
 

Directions: 

  1. Sprinkle a light layer of coarse salt in a cast iron skillet
  2. Place 2 tablespoons of butter in the skillet
  3. Turn the heat to medium/medium high until the butter caramelizes
  4. Place the wagyu steak in the pan
  5. Cook 2 minutes each side
  6. While the steak is searing, preheat your oven to 400 degrees F
  7. Put the pan and steak in the oven
  8. Cook for 4 minutes or until preferred color
  9. While steak is in the over, warm a plate with butter in the microwave
  10. Take the steak out and set it on the warm buttered plate
  11. Let it rest for 5 minutes
  12. Enjoy!
