30th Annual Beekeepers' Symposium

Get ready for the 30th Annual Alabama Extension Beekeeping Symposium on Feb. 1, 2025, from 8:30-4:30 PM at the Clanton Performing Arts Center (1850 Lay Dam Road, Clanton, AL). Keynote speakers include Dr. Marla Spivak and Dr. Frank Rinkevich. Other presenters include Alabama Extension Agents, members of the Auburn University Bee Lab, and Alabama Journeyman Beekeepers.
There is a $45 registration fee. Lunch is included. Registrations made after January 24 will not include lunch.
Interested in getting started in beekeeping? Sign up for the beginner's beekeeping course that runs concurrent to the Symposium. It will teach you what you need to get through your first year in beekeeping.
Sweet Grown Alabama will be in the vendor hall, as well as lots of informational booths and vendors selling equipment, plants, crafts, and many other items related to beekeeping.
