There is something special about digging your hands into the same dirt that has fed your family and community for 200 years. Taking care of our land and our neighbors is part of our family DNA. In 1925 my great great grandfather John Martin Lowe bought a school bus. He used that bus to take the local kids to school safely and then used it to carry loads of watermelon, fresh peaches and other produce up to Pell City to sell. Nearly one hundred years later his work has inspired me to reimagine that school bus into the modern world:
We grow the healthiest, freshest produce and deliver it to our neighbors the same day we pick it.
Anything we cannot sell the same day we pick it is donated to support underserved communities and people in need across our community. We believe everyone deserves access to fresh, healthy, locally grown food.
We are deeply committed to good environmental stewardship of the land and resources that have been entrusted to our family for the past 200 years.
I am excited to introduce this new way to share our farm with you and welcome you as part of our extended family.
